    You have a unique history and mind/body type which has affected your weight. Together we'll explore these along with what makes you tick and why this is key to kickstarting your weight management journey. 

  • How and what to eat

    You know that nutrition is the foundation of good health, but what if I said that so is how you eat? You'll be educated on how to shift your relationship to food, learning what and how to eat along the way. Strictly no calorie counting here!

  • Movement and Mindfulness

    What your mind thinks your body feels? Exercise isn't just burning calories by running on a treadmill. In this part of the programme you'll explore the best movement and meditative practices for you, so that exercise is no longer a chore, but an act of restoration.

How does the better weight programme work?

Through 1:1 holistic coaching and tailored recommendations you'll be able to explore your weight goals and how you can achieve them.  You'll be given guidance on how to make changes to your lifestyle and supported with implementing them.  Sessions will take place every 2 weeks for 50 minutes over a period of 3 months remotely over skype or zoom online.

What is holistic health?

Holistic Health is taking a 360 degree view of your health situation and identifying areas which might be causing or contributing to your health issues.  Our health issues are not caused by one single factor there are many different combinations of causes.  How we live our lives from eating to drinking, sleeping and doing, resting and exercising, and every relationship we have affects our health. Holistic Health approaches seek to help explore the root cause (s) of our health situation and rebalance these on an individual level.

What techniques do you use?

Using a combination of ancient holistic health practices such as Ayurveda and modern health approaches such as Functional Medicine I'll help you to learn exactly how and where you can make adjustments to your lifestyle and re-balance your body again.

Can I take part in the programme if I'm on medication?

Yes, for sure, If you're on medication for any health condition, then let's talk, after-all I am a pharmacist, I'll always help you with communicating your progress with your GP in order to better manage your medicines and hopefully reduce a few along the way.
